Ep1. In conversation with... Yulia O’Mahony and Dr Heather Bolton

Over the coming weeks, as workplaces across the world navigate the challenges posed by the developing pandemic, our 'In conversation with...' podcast will explore the implications to workplace mental health with field experts.

This podcast was originally intended to cover topics relating to workplace mental health and wellbeing more broadly, but within those parameters the unfolding epidemic is unavoidable – and too important to overlook anyway.

So until the world resumes business as usual, we’ll use this platform to keep business and wellbeing leaders abreast of workplace mental health best practices in times of crisis.

Hosted by Unmimd’s CEO and Co-Founder Dr. Nick Taylor, we’ll focus on employee mental health, as well as the measures organisations can take to support their people.

Episode one welcomes Yulia O'Mahony, former Head of Diversity, Inclusion and Wellbeing at John Lewis Partnership, and Dr Heather Bolton, Head of Psychology at Unmind.

Tune in as Heather an Yulia discuss:

  • How company boards are operating in crisis mode.
  • The human psychology of decision-making amid uncertainty.
  • How to support the mental wellbeing of your remote workforce.

In our next episode we'll be speaking to mental health campaigner and City Mental Health Alliance CEO, Poppy Jaman OBE.
